Vintage radio

I have long been interested in radios since I was a boy. I built my first Crystal Radio when I was eleven years old and my first portable Portable Reflex Receiver when I was fourteen. Unfortunately I had to give away much of my collection of vintage radios to either museums or friends when I moved from the Netherlands to the UK but have kept a few including a Bush DAC 90A which I refurbished. I also have a couple of old voltmeters from the 1940's and 1950's namely AvoMeter and Pacometer.

My love of radios eventually led me to creating one of the first Internet Radios to run on the Raspberry Pi hobby computer which I have been maintaining ever since. The Raspberry PI is a credit card sized computer and is produced by the Raspberry Pi Foundation. See the Internet Radio Project here.
